Annual Fundraiser

Women's Small Business Initiative, LLC collaborates with Teryck Coles, Owner of Move with Tee, LLC to host the Purple & Pink Throwback Fundraiser. During this event, we highlight two causes: Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer awareness both of which are recognized in the month of October. For the last two years, our pink donations have gone to support Susan G. Komen fundraising efforts while the purple donations have gone to support local domestic violence efforts including shelters and places for families in transition. This year, we are looking to celebrate and fund-raise for local breast cancer agencies, as well as to continue to highlight local agencies for families in transition due to domestic violence and/or domestic violence efforts. 20% of donations raised through Women's Small Business Initiative, LLC goes directly to Pink & Purple Throwback Fundraiser each year. Each donation allows us to continue to celebrate and support business owners.

Donations OVER $200 will be advertised with a flyer on all social media platforms & "shout out" on our weekly LIVE Podcast for two weeks.

All Donations split 50/50 between the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research and our own highlighted LOCAL organization, Women Giving Back (womengivingback.org)—a non-profit group in Sterling, VA, which help women and children in crisis by distributing clothing at no cost.
